The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for Construction Project Management Supervisor at Port Everglades.
We currently have two (2) Construction Project Manager Supervisor positions open in the Seaport Engineering and Construction Division as well as the Facilities Maintenance Division.
The Construction Project Manager Supervisor is responsible for performing advanced professional and administrative work in the design and management of construction projects for the Port Everglades Department.
Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in architecture and/or engineering or closely related field; Master's degree preferred.
Requires six (6) years in professional architectural or engineering work, including four (4) years of experience in project management and supervision of staff appropriate to the area of assignment or closely related experience.
M.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field M.S. Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or closely related field Licensed General or Building Contractor in the State of Florida Project Management Professional (PMP) certification LEED certification Working knowledge of AutoCad Experience using Building Information Modeling (BIM) Seven (7) years experience in governmental accounting and procurement processes Seven (7) years experience in public sector construction project management
