The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, one of the world’s most respected centers devoted exclusively to cancer patient care, research, education and prevention, is seeking an Associate Vice President, Facilities Engineering to direct the management and provision of all engineering, utility, energy and Building Information Management operations in support of the Division of Facilities and the Mission of MD Anderson Cancer Center.
The Associate Vice President, Facilities Engineering develops strategy, plans and coordinates all engineering, utility operations, enterprise and critical building technology systems, Emergency Power Supply System, High Voltage, Vertical Conveyance, Utility Outage Management, energy management, building information management, drafting and support services related to remodeling, renovation, new construction and equipment replacement projects to support operational needs of the organization.
Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline
Ten years’ experience in Healthcare/Academic/ Corporate Facility Engineering operations experience in a professional setting, to include five years of supervisory experience and three years in the construction or healthcare facilities environment.
Experience: Ten years supervisory or management experience within Healthcare, Academic or Administrative facilities operations environment.
