Responsible for the overall operations, delivery and reliability of corporate-wide business application systems including financial applications, data management, data protection, information security and operational monitoring to achieve business objectives. Oversees the strategic relationship between IT and all functional areas within the organization to ensure business solutions.
Provides strategic and tactical planning, evaluation, and coordination of all information and technology systems (PeopleSoft HCM, PeopleSoft FSCM, ALM) for the organization with the exception of EKPC’s Energy Management System (EMS).
Sets goals and strategic direction for information technology business application operations, along with the Director, Information Technology.
Oversees implementation of all business application projects. Ensures communication with project stakeholders is appropriate and timely. Tracks costs associated with projects and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Develops and maintain Information Business Application Strategic Roadmap.
Establishes metrics for system performance, service levels and security events. Monitors and reports metrics regularly to Director, Information Technology.
Keeps current on new developments in business application and plans for future upgrades and organizational changes.
Identifies, prioritizes, and addresses business application security risks to protect EKPC information and information systems from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification or destruction.
Maintains confidentiality, integrity and availability of EKPC information.
Complies with applicable internal and external policies, standards, laws and regulation related to EKPC information.
Directs and coordinates business continuity and service restoration plans related application systems.
Develops and manages business application annual operating and capital budget with coordination with Director, Information Technology.
Manages business application staff and contractors.
Provides leadership, development planning, motivation and mentoring of IT staff.
Reviews performance of staff on an annual basis consistent with EKPC’s Human Resources Guidelines and Procedures.
Provides and oversees business application development and support for EKPC and Member Systems.
Ensures sufficient resources and training necessary to perform business application work assigned to team.
Project-manage and leads cross–functional teams related to business applications.
Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in a related area. Equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
Ten (10) years related experience.
Experience managing and/or directing IT operations.
Demonstrated experience in planning, developing and implementing cutting edge information technology solutions.
Strong vendor management experience.
Demonstrated project management experience.
Proven leadership, strategic planning, and execution of technology matters.
Demonstrated success of establishing, managing, and maintaining effective working relationships.

Analytical Skills - Strong skills in identifying problems, analyzing innovation solutions, and selecting best action to improve processes and meet business objectives.
Complete Supervisory Training Program within two (2) years and attend on-going Learning for Leaders training.
