Lucas has an attractive, influential Senior Leadership opportunity available at its Wexford headquarters. The CTO is responsible for an overarching technology roadmap for Lucas, including new product development, software engineering standards and architecture, data science and machine learning initiatives, infrastructure and security. The ideal candidate is an innovative, demonstrated thought leader with a commercial solutions mindset and a decade of progressive experience within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial technology environment.
Partner with CEO and Senior Leadership on strategic business initiatives and market opportunities.
Set the technical direction of Lucas by developing and owning a technology roadmap.
Develop strategies to grow the business and increase revenue while providing cost-benefit justification, ROI analysis.
Maintain a customer-first outlook while overseeing the delivery of projects and products to market.
Champion technical vision, sharing opportunities and risks company-wide.
Provide guidance to technical leaders, teams and product owners to ensure development efforts align with technical vision and implement within committed timelines.
Support Enterprise Level Sales as a SME and trusted advisor by promoting Lucas’ capabilities through a variety of digital, networking, conferences, and partner channels.
Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop strategies to create communities around products and services.
Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, software development and overall best practices.
Manage technology budget and timelines.
M.S. in Computer Science or related field. MBA preferred.
10+ years of experience in technology management roles demonstrating progressive accountability. 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role.
Advanced technological skillset, including the use of data science and/or machine learning.
Exceptional team management experience, including the ability to attract and retain top talent.
Strong financial acumen.
Proven thought leadership coupled with a dynamic presence.
10 – 15 years of work experience in senior engineering management role
Experience with Voice/Speech recognition technology
Exposure to warehousing/distribution or supply chain industries
