Purpose of the position:This position works with licensed maintenance and journeymen electricians and various other helpers in trouble shooting, installing and maintaining electrical systems and related equipment. This position is responsible for various electrical tasks including services, maintenance and installation of electrical fixtures and wiring.  This position is responsible for working with the University Building Codes Division to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and the laws and rules regulating licensing of electricians and inspection of electrical installations.  The campus is a national leader in sustainability, having achieved carbon neutrality on the electrical side with goals for thermal and other areas of campus.  This position will demonstrate
