Under the direction of the Port Director, and in coordination with Municipality’s PAMP Director, serve as the Port’s and Municipality’s engineering and program management subject matter expert for all facets of the Port of Alaska Modernization Program (PAMP). Direct advisor to the Mayor’s PAMP Director on the performance of the PAMP Program Management Office (PMO) towards accomplishing all contracted program deliveries. Perform other related duties as assigned.

This is an executive position (no union affiliation) and serves at the pleasure of the Mayor of the Municipality of Anchorage.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and twelve (12) years of experience in engineering, contract administration, accounting, program administration, utility management, managing projects or information systems  of which two (2) years have been in a supervisory or lead capacity.
 
OR
 
Associate's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Project Management or a related discipline and ten (10) years of experience in engineering, contract administration, accounting, program administration, utility management, managing projects or information systems  of which two (2) years have been in a supervisory or lead capacity.
 
OR
 
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Project Management or a related discipline and eight (8) years of experience in engineering, contract administration, accounting, program administration, utility management, managing projects or information systems  of which two (2) years have been in a supervisory or lead capacity.

OR
 
Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Management, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Project Management or a related discipline and six (6) years of experience in engineering, contract administration, accounting, program administration, utility management, managing projects or information systems  of which two (2) years have been in a supervisory or lead capacity.
