Under the direction of the University Engineer, the Energy Manager is a leader in the development and implementation of a comprehensive and cost-effective Energy Management Program. The manager is a systems integrator, project manager, and force multiplier - analyzing the optimum solutions to reduce energy consumption using technology and people in a cost-effective approach. The Energy Manager also has an outward facing role to help advance and support the university's goal of environmental excellence among higher education institutions. Due to the critical nature of the role, the Energy Manager must be on-site during regular working hours, major projects and emergency events.Job Function
