Together, our fully integrated research and clinical care teams seek to discover new cures to the world's deadliest diseases and make life beyond cancer a reality.

With minimal supervision, the Software Development Engineer III role is to provide custom software solutions where no optimal solutions exist to support the mission of Fred Hutch. Projects include extending an existing laboratory information management system (LIMS), building API's to enable integrations with third party systems including OpenSpecimen, OnCore CTMS and Epic, and developing applications to improve clinical lab processes. These tools support exciting new initiatives to enable bioinformatics analysis pipelines, spatial transcriptomics and precision oncology.
The Software Development Engineer III will join a larger, talented team of software engineers within the Solutions, Engineering and Architecture team (SEA), a part of Fred Hutch IT.
