The Department of Technology Management and Innovation at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering invites applications for one full time, non-tenured, renewable faculty position in Technology Management and Innovation or a closely related discipline (details below), at the level of Industry Assistant Professor, with a start date of Fall 2024.
An Industry Professor's primary roles are teaching, mentoring and educational innovation. The nominal teaching load for an Industry Faculty is 3 courses/academic semester (Spring and Fall). Specific teaching assignments are determined based on the needs in our undergraduate and graduate programs
We invite applications from Faculty members or industry leaders with an exceptional record in Technology Strategy, Economics of Technological Change, Network Economics, Financial Analysis, Global Innovation, Organizational Behavior, Design Thinking (including Service Design and Design Strategy), Project Management, Product Management/Development or a closely related discipline.
You should be an excellent teacher and mentor. You should have a Ph.D. in a closely related discipline and teaching in these areas. A record of industrial experience is strongly preferred.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary (for 9-month) range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000 for the Assistant Professor rank.
