The Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts (LACSD) provide environmentally sound, cost-effective wastewater and solid waste management to approximately 5.5 million people in Los Angeles County. The Districts’ service area covers approximately 850 square miles and encompasses 78 cities and unincorporated territory within the County, excluding the majority of the City of Los Angeles.
