The tenure-track assistant professor will join a team of faculty advancing the ISEN program in Rayen School of Engineering at YSU by teaching courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Teaching within the Online Engineering Management Master's program will also be required. Research in various ISEN areas and mentoring graduate students with their thesis or project will be a requirement of the position.

Plans, organizes, teaches, and provides feedback to promote and direct student success. Responds to students in a timely manner. Communicates with students, departments, and university officials via university provided tools and resources. 

Ability to contribute to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the University community through teaching.

Work Schedule: Typically, Monday through Friday, including some evenings, and the possibility of some weekend days.

Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: None

Minimum Qualifications: An earned Ph.D. in Industrial & Systems Engineering or a closely related field by the time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications: A Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
