Description of Work:
Create new processes and applications using the suite of development tools within the student information system. Write XSL transformations to deliver content via the student information system's web applications to end-users in easy to consume formats. Use SQL, WebFOCUS coding and other computer languages to write queries against the Student Information systems. Create system interfaces between the Student Information System and other subsidiary systems. Create data branching logic to create datasets that can be consumed by reporting and data analysis tools. Determine means to meet end-users reporting and analysis needs throughout the university. Act as a resource to UNL system users and functional administrators, provide regular updates, and answer questions. Possess and maintain a practical knowledge of university policies and processes. Communicate effectively with individuals of varying systems expertise and business needs.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management of Information Systems or related field plus 1 year of employment experience with information systems and preferably in a higher education setting required; equivalent education/experience considered. Knowledge of information systems necessary. Ability to conduct database queries and report writing essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree preferred. Two or more years of full-time, applicable employment experience desirable. Knowledge of how university work is accomplished helpful.
