Job Summary:
This position will work within the UEM Distribution Team to maintain & operate underground utility infrastructure, including steam and condensate return, chilled water, domestic water, natural gas, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems. Primary responsibilities include support of 24/7/365 supply of utility services to campus facilities by maintaining integrity of underground or distribution-related utility systems, safely operating valves to isolate or restore utility service to sections of campus, troubleshooting flow or supply issues, executing KY811 underground utility locate marking, supporting capital construction projects, facilitating third-party utility vendor work on campus, and performing preventive maintenance activities and repairs on utility piping and systems. This position may be required to resolve certain problems independently and assist in training lessor operator positions. Responds to emergency situations and other duties as assigned. Employee will be expected to work overtime or in a paid on-call rotation as needed/requested.

Driver License preferred.
