We are hiring for a Senior Technical Trainer. In this role you would be is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and evaluating high quality technical training programs for Bus Maintenance personnel. The incumbent provides instruction for all facets of the bus maintenance and repair processes including: Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, air-conditioning electrical and electronic maintenance activities associated with transit bus vehicles to ensure safety, improve reliability, and maintain cost effectiveness of the fleet.
This individual will need to be able to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in the form of presentations and documentation. In this position, you’ll have an opportunity to combine your technical expertise to teach job skills and help our maintenance technicians improve their job performance.

What education and experience are required for this job (minimum qualifications):
Any of the following combinations of related work experience that includes both technical experience (bus or truck technologies, automotive technologies or similar) and technical training/instruction experience (reporting into a technical training department with a focus on course development, instructional design, adult learning concepts as well as delivery of training), AND completed education in Education, Engineering, Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or closely related field; AND at least one (1) year of supervisory, lead worker or project management work experience:
High school diploma/GED AND eight (8) years of total related work experience that must include at least four (4) years of technical work experience and at least four (4) years in technical training or instruction.
Associate degree AND six (6) years of total related work experience that must include at least three (3) years of technical work experience and at least three (3) years in technical training or instruction.
Bachelor’s degree or higher AND four (4) years of total related work experience that must include at least two (2) years of technical work experience and at least two (2) years in technical training or instruction.
License Requirement:
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
