Role Overview:
As a Regional Maintenance Manager (RMM), you will oversee multiple fulfillment center locations within a designated region. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering strong client relationships. You will lead by example, creating a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and employee development, ensuring alignment with both C&W Services and our clientâ™s operational goals
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy
- Lead and align Senior Maintenance Managers (SMMs), Maintenance Managers (MMs), and site leaders across multiple locations with company goals.
- Communicate the companyâ™s vision and strategy, driving operational alignment and performance optimization.
Employee Development
- Mentor and develop direct reports through coaching, succession planning, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a "People First" culture by creating an inclusive, innovative, and team-oriented environment.
Safety Leadership
- Champion safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with protocols, training completion, and proactive incident management.
- Partner with Regional Safety Specialists to address challenges and achieve safety milestones.
Operational Excellence
- Optimize uptime and equipment reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) programs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Safety Leadership Index (SLI) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Drive timely completion of Permanent Corrective Actions (PCAs) and Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).
Client Relationships and Collaboration
- Build strong client relationships through Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and collaboration with site leaders to identify improvement opportunities.
- Act as a liaison between C&W Services and our clientâ™s site leadership to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Financial and Administrative Management
- Manage regional budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
- Oversee compliance with travel, expense, and timesheet approvals while maintaining dashboard accuracy.
Basic Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelorâ™s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: 7+ yearsâ™ experience in managing maintenance and operations within fulfillment centers or similar environments.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams across geographically dispersed locations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Work Availability: Availability to provide 24/7 support with up to 50-75% travel as needed.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., crouch, kneel, bend, and reach as needed to install, move, or maintain equipment, including the use of aerial lifts or ladders.
- Ability to perform tasks wearing appropriate or required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as a hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite-toe shoes.
- Ability to walk 6-12 miles daily, including climbing stairs or navigating multiple floors, to facilitate work across multiple sites.
- Ability to perform duties in fluctuating temperatures and varying warehouse environments and typing on a computer for 1-2 hours per day.
