The role you’ll contribute:
The Market Director is responsible for the strategic management of the Organization’s Facilities Departments, system wide.Plans, develops, and executes the system-wide vision for the Facilities Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Control Systems, Energy Management, Landscaping, Environmental Services, Security, Safety and Emergency Management, and Construction for the Organization.Ensures that facility operations are effective, efficient, and in compliance with the CMS, DNV / Joint Commission, AHCA, and other federal, state and local safety and regulatory agencies. Develops and recommends methodologies to ensure that Facilities operates within budget, evaluating supply and labor usage needed to meet established annual metrics. Develops new business opportunities, implements required training and development of team members, and oversees the safety, procurement, and supply of required materials and services for each area of responsibility.
Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
·Provides executive level oversight and direction to delivery and performance of Facilities Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Control Systems, Energy Management, Landscaping, Environmental Services, Security, Safety and Emergency Management, and Construction for the Organization.
·Develops training programs to ensure Facilities staff is educated and knowledgeable about current codes and regulations with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements (AHCA, OSHA, DNV/Joint Commission), and with internal compliance, policies, and procedures.
·Controls expenses within area of responsibility by developing and implementing processes that ensure departments operate within annual budgets, in excess of $10 million dollars annually.
·Provides strategic input and direction for facilities upgrades, and administrative oversight of the day-to-day operations, ensuring long term safety and durability of facilities engineering systems.
·Consistently looks for areas of cost improvement while maintaining high performance and customer satisfaction. Meets monthly with campus administrative leaders and key personnel to solicit customer feedback, develop relationships, and evaluate initiatives.
·Promotes good staffing practices by maximizing the utilization of human resources; forecasts and anticipates personnel needs with regard to fluctuations in the projected workload.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
·Expert level knowledge of the principles, theories, and practices of facility operations and management.
·Expert level knowledge of AHCA regulations, DNV /CMS and Joint Commission Standards, as well as other applicable rules and regulations.
·Comprehensive and practical understanding of large mechanical systems such as; HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and engineering maintenance, including ability to problem solve effectively.
·Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field or completion in 2 years of hiring.
·Seven years’ experience in healthcare facilities management in a multi-site organization
·Three years leadership experience in healthcare facilities management in a multi-site organization.
·Two years finance experience managing multi-million-dollar budget through financial analysis, strategic budget planning, capital spend and procurement costs
