Job Summary:
Facilities Management Administration is conducting a search for two (2) Project Managers. These positions are responsible for confirming and managing a project scope, budget and schedule from project inception through project close-out while maintaining the involvement and expectations of the client and stakeholders including but not limited to: Space Utilization, Information Technology, Facilities, Energy Management, Environmental Services, and Media Services. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between the consultants, contractors, and the stakeholders. These positions will simultaneously manage multiple projects in various phases.
The Project Manager will build and support a culture of communication and develop a collaborative team including client representatives, stakeholders, consultants, vendors, contractors and other internal and external parties as needed. In addition, they will keep the team informed and involved at every phase of the project and obtain team input on any changes to program, schedule, or budget. They will coordinate utility shut-downs and construction activities with the schedule of campus activities and events. Some of the essential and secondary job duties include:
- Acts as a single project liaison among both internal and external entities, such as the intended user, departments, consultants, contractors and regulatory agencies across a set of College facilities.
- Works with all university shops, with Facilities, Planning, Design and Construction, and external vendors as needed to maintain the quality and functionality of ETSU facilities.
- Facilitates the survey and exploratory activities related to preconstruction activities.
- Provides internal consulting services for design, preparation of plans and specs, and administration of construction contracts for campus facilities.
- Coordinates design and installation of furniture, equipment, and signage.
- Plans or oversees the planning and coordination of occupancy issues, such as moving logistics, signage, telephones, and/or other related matters.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the design/construction industry managing or supervising projects.
- Experience in project design and construction administration.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
